It is recommended that you have an International Driving License for the type of vehicle you shall be using during your trip although a regular driving licence from your country of origin should do as well.
We do not recommend trying to cover too much territory over a single day. Concentration levels required on Indian road are high and riding at night on the highways is best avoided.
Helmets are compulsory only in some states of India however we advice you to always wear them.
If you plan to travel outside India on your motorcycle you would need to have the motorcycle registered in your name and then apply for a Carnet De Passage. Applying for a Carnet from India is a difficult proposition and is best done from your country of origin.
We recommend that you contact us a few weeks in advance if you plan a get a motorcycle during the tourist season (October - April) as there is normally a great demand for machines during that period.
